7th March 2009 - hiddenabilities house & techno night @ Bar 2012 on Saturday 4th April.Following the hugely successful dubstep & d'n'b night held at Bar 2012 on Saturday 7th Feb (see the gallery for some pics), our next club night will be a house & techno night at Bar 2012 on Saturday 4th April from 8pm-1am. If you want to be in with a chance of DJing at the forthcoming house & techno night, submit your mix demo (mp3, max 60 mins) at the upload page, and we could be in touch! |
5th February 2009 - hiddenabilities @ Bar 2012 this Saturday 8pm-1am!The second hiddenabilities event is almost upon us and promises to be a quality night of dubstep and drum'n'bass in one of Brick Lane's only bars with an underground club! Just to remind you of the details, the night takes place this Saturday 7th February (8pm-1am) at Bar 2012, 194 Brick Lane (E1 6SA if you want to look it up on Google Maps!). The night is free before 11pm and just £3 afterwards. The following DJs will be playing:

26th November 2008 - hiddenabilities enhances website with ratings and comments section plus new track search functionalityProviding you are a registered member (which doesn't take long if not!), you're now able to rate the demos you listen to on the website and leave comments. This will provide the DJs, MCs and producers with valuable feedback from the listening population as well as letting users voice their (constructive) opinions. You will also notice a new look to the Listen section. Each demo now has its own individual page. To listen to a demo, click on the Listen icon in the demo list and then click on the play button! If you would like to rate the demo and leave a comment, click on the Add comment & rating demo button and submit. The rating score is out of 10 with a default value of 5, so anything above 5 can be thought of as above average and anything less than 5 as below average. In addition, you can now search for the tracks you hear in demos in a new way. Each track on the tracklist is linked to a search icon, one for a vinyl search on the chemical-records.co.uk website We hope you like the new features, any feedback is of course welcome. |
19th September 2008 - Line-up now confirmed for the hiddenabilities launch night!The night will be showcasing some of the best up-and-coming talent on offer. The first part of the night will be dedicated to playing out tunes from new talent producers (Bass'Flo, Bone School, M.A.C.K., McQueen), with the rest of the night showcasing DJ and MC talent:

13th September 2008 - Demo submission for launch nightOk, that it's - at least for the launch night anyway! Many thanks to everyone who has submitted a demo, we've really enjoyed hearing the wide variety of talent out there across so many different genres. More demos will be appearing on the website across the coming weeks. We'll also be announcing our very first line-up of talented artists to play at Herbal very soon, so watch this space! |
31st July 2008 - Launch party at Herbal!hiddenabilities.co.uk is proud to announce that it is holding its launch party at the legendary Herbal (www.herbaluk.com) in Shoreditch on Thursday 16th October 2008 from 9-2am. If that isn't good enough in itself, if you are a DJ, MC or a producer then YOU could be performing at the night or getting your tunes heard on the amazing soundsystem! Yep, that's right, hiddenabilities is giving you the opportunity to DJ or MC at Herbal (four one hour slots available) with the first hour of the night dedicated to playing out the best tunes that are submitted by producers. So, if you are a DJ, MC or producer, register yourself on the hiddenabilities website and get uploading your demos on the submit page. The deadline for submitting demos is Friday 12th September 2008 if you want to be considered for the launch party. The launch night will be a mixed genre affair to reflect the diversity of music the site represents, so no matter what your prefered genre is, you are in with a chance. Good luck! |

We will be on a mission to build content over the next few months so if you are a DJ, MC or producer please submit your demos. Moreover, every month you are in with a great chance to play at one of our hiddenabilities.co.uk club nights.
