About Ushiddenabilities.co.uk is a website dedicated to giving new, unheard and up-and-coming DJs, MCs and producers the opportunity to be heard, get experience and get noticed. You could be a DJ, MC or producer with as little as six months or as much as ten years experience, if you still need a chance to showcase your "hiddenabilities" then get involved! The benefits of registering and using hiddenabilities.co.uk include that it's free (top priority!) i.e. free to submit and listen to demos with unlimited bandwidth on demos that are posted on the site. More importantly, as an artist you will gain exposure, get your demos listened to, play at our nights and even get booked to play at other people's nights if promoters like what they hear. As a producer, your tunes will gain exposure in our regular podcast and at the hiddenabilities' club nights. If you have come to listen to demos on the site, you can be sure that they are all top quality as they are handpicked from the vast number of demos we receive and represent some of the best talent in the UK. The benefit is that you don't have to trawl through thousands of demos yourself before hearing a good one! How does it work? We are looking for demos from DJs, MCs and producers across all genres of electronic music. You can send them to us electronically using the submit section of the website. We will then display the best submissions on the website for our user's listening pleasure. DJs – artists who submit the best demos will be chosen to play at the regular hiddenabilities.co.uk club nights. If you're chosen, all we ask is for you to get as many people to come along with you as possible to hear you play! MCs – as well as the best demos being posted on the hiddenabilities website, you will get the chance to showcase your lyrical genius in front of live crowds at hiddenabilities.co.uk club nights (genre dependent). Producers – in addition to featuring on the website, your tracks could appear in our regular podcast showcasing the most promising new talent and also played at the hiddenabilities.co.uk club nights so you can hear them on a real system! Promoters/Record Labels/Venues – check out our website, listen to the DJ mixes, MC demos and producer tracks and come along to our club nights to see the very freshest and best new talent on offer. If you are a record label and would like to give us permission to display demos on the site that use tracks from your label then please email mosaic@hiddenabilities.co.uk.
